This past Tuesday marked the 25th anniversary of the day Brian LaViolette’s life was lost in a swimming accident in the bay of Green Bay. Brian, who was 15 years old at the time, was an excellent student, loved sports and was very close with his family and friends.   The day of Brian’s funeral, his family promised in his name and memory to accomplish great things. The Brian LaViolette Scholarship Foundation was formed as a 501(C) (3) not-for-profit corporation (and is now a 501c3 Public Charity).
